My project work has included large residences, housing <br />projects, public park work, government buildings and commercial sites as shown on the <br />acompanying Resume'. I have been involved in several roadway and streetscape design <br />projects as described below and shown by the selected photos and drawings which also <br />follow. <br />MINNEAPOLIS PARKWAY RECONSTRUCTION Interdesign Inc, 1972 <br />I was the designer responsible for preliminary concepts for this <br />project including road and path alignment, parking bays, curb and <br />roadway detail, lighting layout and planting masses. <br />BURNSVILLE CENTER Bailey and Associates, 1973 <br />My responsibility was for landscape design concepts and preparation <br />of sketch images to describe the proposals. <br />CHOWENS CORNER REDEVELOPMENT. DEEPHAVEN James Robin, 1980 <br />I developed the overall site design for this p 'oject including roadway <br />parking and walk alignments and planting concepts. <br />HUTCHINSON DOWNTOWN AREA DESIGN WORKBOOK Robin and Close. 1982 <br />Working for the Hutchinson Chamber of Commerce, the downtown area <br />was reviewed f;.r problems and potential using visual images to suggest <br />a range of possible improvements. <br />FDRT ROAD STR TTSCAPE, SAINT PAUL Robin and Close, 1982-4 <br />This pri ct produced streetscape improvements worth $1.2 million for <br />the area ousinesses along 5 miles of West Seventh Street. Improvements <br />included new walks, street trees, pedestrian lighting, storefront <br />awnings and ornamental metal grilles. The clients were the West <br />Seventh Street Federation and the City of Saint Paul Department of <br />Flam ing and Economic Development.
