$26,000 with additional add-ons ranging from $4,000 to $8,500 each. Abdo's quote came in at <br />$23,000 with additional scenario add -on of $2,500 each. Waterworth was a subscription based rate <br />study that offers an innovative platform for updating the study on a continual basis, with the first <br />year at $16,720 and future years approximately half the cost. CLA declined to offer a quote due to <br />a lack of expertise in the Minnesota area. <br />At this time, staff is recommending moving forward with Abdo. Abdo currently performs the <br />City's audit and has expertise with the City's financials which staff believes will help with the <br />overall process. <br />Cost: <br />The cost of the study is $23,000 with the option to run different scenarios for an additional $2,500 <br />per scenario. Staff is recommending the cost not to exceed $28,000. <br />6. Funding: <br />The study will be funded by the Water, Sewer and Stormwater Funds. <br />7. Staff Recommendation: <br />Staff is recommending contracting with Abdo to perform a Utility Rate Study, not to exceed <br />$28,000.
