Zoning File #1603
December 4, 1990
Page 8
3. The greenhouse structure will not be visible from the
County Road nor from the adjacent lots of the Mi listen plat
nor from any other adjacent property.
4. The greenhouse will supply plantings for flower beds
totalling 6,386 s.f, of area on the estate.
The minority opinion of two was concerned because of the
commercial aspect of the design of the structure and that prior
to acting, it would have been helpful to have a comprehensive
plan of both properties (1075 Millston Road and 1700" Shorel ine
Drive).
The Planning Commission conditioned its approval
recommendation on the applicant providing an updated
comprehensive survey of both properties before it could be
presented for Council's action. The updated survey is enclosed
as Exhibit J for Council's review.
In reviewing applicant's most recent letter to Council
(Exhibit I), Mr. Jacobs addresses the concerns of the minority
opinion as to the commercial aspect of the groenhouse by agreeing
to remove it upon future subdivision of the property. This
condition would be included in the covenants for oversized
accessory structures required to be filed against t) e chain of
property upon approval of this variance and the legal combination
of the property.
The enclosed approval resolution has been drafted per the
Planning Commission recommendation.
