RESOLUTION #363 <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT FOR 1969LS-1 <br />WHEREAS, proper notice of hearing has been duly given`as required by <br />law, by publication in the Mound-Westonka Minnetonka Sun on September <br />10, 1970, and. <br />WHEREAS, the Clerk -Administrator has caused notice of the hearing on <br />the proposed assessment to be served upon all persons owning property <br />affected thereby by mailing a copy of such notice or personal service <br />thereof, in accordance with Resolution #359, passed on August 24, <br />1970, the Village Council has met and heard and passed upon all <br />,objections to the proposed assessment for the following improvement: <br />Imp. No. Nature <br />1969LS-1 Construction of All that land abutting, adjacent to <br />Sanitary Sewer or in the vicinity of the following <br />..Laterals streets and described property: <br />Shorehills Plat <br />,.: Registered Land Survey 131 <br />Also that property abutting the W <br />side of Old Beach Road from County <br />Road #19 to the N limits, and on <br />the N side of County Road #19 from <br />Old Beach Road to Wly to a point <br />NWly- along said County Road #19 for <br />approximately 800 feet. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE <br />OF ORONO, MINNESOTA: <br />1. Such proposed assessment for said improvement, a copy <br />of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, is adopted and <br />shall constitute the special assessment hereby levied against the <br />respective land's therein describedq an.d_.e.ach tract of land therein <br />included and assessed is hereby found to be benefited by the proposed <br />improvement in,.the.�amount of the- assessment levied against it. <br />2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual <br />installments extending over a period of 15 years, the first <br />installment to be payable concurrently with general taxes levied in <br />the year 1971 and payable in the year 1971 and shall bear interest at <br />the rate of eight percent (80) per annum from the date of the adoption <br />of this assessment resolution. To the first installment shall be <br />added interest on the entire assessment from the date of this assessment <br />until December 31st of the year in w.hi•ch-such first installment becomes. <br />due and payable. To each subsequent, -installment when due, shall be <br />added interest for one year on the, total- of,_ &1.l. unpaid, installments. <br />3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time <br />prior to certification of the assessment to the county auditor, pay <br />the whole of the assessment on such property, with interest accrued <br />to the date of payment, to the Village Treasurer, except that no <br />.interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within <br />30 days from the adoption of this resolution; and he may, at any <br />time thereafter pay to the County Treasurer the entire amount of the <br />
