Zoning File #1593 October 17, 1990 <br />Page 4 <br />Additional Comments and Planning Comaiission Recommendation <br />The applicant advised that he does propose a deck to the <br />west side of the existing residence. The deck will be a grade <br />level deck no higher than 15” off existing grade. No railing is <br />proposed. The applicant has been made aware of the need for a <br />building permit, in addition to providing appropriate plans for <br />deck construction. The setbacks of the proposed deck will be 25+ <br />feet from the Arbor Street lot line and in excess of the required <br />10' separation setback from the detached accessory structure. <br />The decK will have no impact on lot coverage standards as total <br />height of deck will not exceed 6' above existing grade. <br />The Planning Commission recommended unanimous approval of <br />the variance application based on the findings and hardships and <br />conditions set forth in the staff recommendation.
