A RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCES <br />TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.03, SUBDIVISION 14(C), <br />SECTION 10.22, SUBDIVISION 2, AND <br />SECTION 10.24, SUBDIVISION 5(B) <br />FILE NO. #2292 <br />WHEREAS, Tom and Susan Okerstrom (I .cinafter "the applicants") are the <br />owners of the property located at 770 Tonkawa Road within the City of Orono (hereinafter "the <br />City") and legally described as follows: <br />See Exhibit A for legal description (hereinafter "the property"); and <br />VrUEREAS, the applicant? have applied to the City for variances to Municipal <br />Zoning Code Section 10.03, Subdivision 14(C), Section 10.22, Subdivision 2 and Section 10.24, <br />Subdivision 5(B) to permit the construction of a detached garage. <br />Minnesota: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />FINDINGS <br />1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2292. <br />2. The property is located in the LR-IB Single Family Lakeshore Residential <br />Zoning District requiring one acre in area. The property consists of 13,440 s.f <br />or .31 acre. <br />3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on March 16, 1998 <br />and recommended approval of the proposed variances based upon the following <br />findings: <br />1.
