A <br />10% grade or less is recommended for driveways; less than <br />8% is preferred with 3:1 slopes for maintenance. <br />4.Use of unopened Bluff Street and Park Drive for a driveway <br />where driveways are required to be at least 5' from side property <br />lines and a right angles to the road. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION (11/16/98): <br />To approve the side yard adjacent to street variances for the proposed improvements to the <br />residence to change the deck into a three season porch and to allow the improvements to the south <br />facade of the residence, subject to removal of hardcover in the 0'-75' setback as shown on the <br />survey dated 11-3-98 by Mark Gronberg. <br />To deny the conditional use permit for grading and land alteration to relocate the garage and to <br />deny the side yard adjacent to street setback for the garage and the use of Bluff Street and Park <br />Drive for a driveway to the proposed garage. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />To amend or approve the enclosed resolution that grants the side yard adjacent to street variance <br />for the three-season porch and south facade changes as shown in Exhibit A attached to the <br />resolution.
