(.39 acres) <br />Application: The applicants applied in June 1998 for multiple variances to make changes <br />to their existing residence and relocate their garage. As the Planning Commission <br />reviewed the plans in July, August, October, and November, the plans were <br />revised. It was determined that a conditional use permit would be needed because <br />grading changes were proposed within 5 ’ of the property lines and between <br />500 and 800 cubic yards of fill was proposed to allow for the garage to be <br />rebuilt closer to the residence. The most recent plan that the Planning <br />Commission reviewed involved the following: <br />1.Remodel the deck on the west side of the existing residence into <br />a three-season porch. A side yard adjacent to street variance <br />is required. <br />Changing the southwest comer and entrance to the residence <br />as shown in Exhibit A attached to the resolution. A side yard <br />adjacent to street variance is required. <br />Removing their existing garage located partially within the <br />required street yard setback and building a new garage closer <br />to their residence.
