Bernhardson, City Administrate) <br />DATE: December 1, 1989 <br />SUBJECT: Stubbs Bay Sewer Consideration <br />OUNCIL MEETING <br />DEC 111989 <br />CITY OF ORQNO <br />ISSUE - Establishment of a da^e that the Council would like to <br />meet in a public forum with the residents of the Stubbs Bay area. <br />INTRODUCTION - At the Council's November 13, 1939 meeting they <br />discussed the issues that had been raised at the last Stubbs Bay <br />meeting with the residents and staff. At that time they directed <br />staff to establish a date at the December 11th meeting for the <br />January/February timeframe. <br />DISUCSSION - The following represents potential dates in January <br />or early February that could be used for such a meeting. They <br />are as follows: <br />January 10th and 11th <br />January 24th and 25th <br />January 29th, 30th, 31st/February 1st <br />February 4th, 5th, 6th or 7th <br />ALTERNATIVES - <br />1. Select a date. <br />2. Table until January 8th. <br />3. Take no action. <br />RECOMMENDATION - Is is recommended that January 30, <br />established as a joint meeting date to be held at the Orono Hig^ <br />school Auditormn at 7:00 P.M. Notification of this meeting will <br />be sent to all residents and property owners in <br />approximately 2 1/2 weeks in advance of the meeting. A spec.al <br />letter will be sent to those on Oxford Road to d.itermine what, if <br />any, interest they have in being included in such a project. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by __, seconded by —, th^at the Council <br />adopt as the date for a joint meeting with the residents of <br />the StUbFs Bay area regarding Stubbs Bay sewer.
