Proposed Ordinance Amendment #_, Second Series <br />ISSUE - Determination as to whether the Council desires to adopt <br />an ordinance to expressly allow for public use of private <br />streets. <br />INTRODUCTION - At the Council's December 11, 1989, Council <br />meeting Council directed staff to have an ordinance amendment <br />drafted that would permit the public use of private streets and <br />still allow for the private maintenance of those streets. The <br />issue involved the Will application, but would have applicability <br />to all the City's private streets. <br />ALTERNATIVES - <br />1. Adopt. <br />2. Amend and adopt. <br />3. Take no action. <br />4. Table. <br />RECOMMENDATION - It is recommended that the proposal be adopted <br />as presented. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by_, seconded by _, to adopt Ordiance <br />#_, Second Series regarding the public use of private roads as <br />prese.ited. <br />cc; John R.
