Gerhardson, Public Works Coordinator <br />FROM: Jack Brinkhaus, Street Department Foreman <br />DATE: August 29, 1990 <br />SUBJ: Fall Clean-up Day - October 20, <br />-'J'S.W.U i .«a J <br />S£" 10 19rJ <br />riif fif vmm <br />The City of Orono Public Works Department is planning fall clean­ <br />up day on Saturday, October 20, 1990 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. <br />The collection point will be behind the long, gold equipment shed <br />at Brown Road South and Spates Avenue in Crystal Bay, next to the <br />Administration Building. <br />The following items will NOT be ac'::epted: <br />garbage <br />trees <br />brush <br />chemicals <br />truck loads <br />barrels, drums, chemical containers, petroleum products <br />or containers <br />Leaves and grass will have to be debagged into our large <br />container.* We will not accept leaf and grass bags. Newspapers <br />and all paper products must be tied securely. <br />Appliances will be set aside and will be picked up by an agency <br />that disassembles and recycles applicances. There is a fee to <br />have them picked up, but we are not recommending charging a fee <br />to the residents at this time. <br />We will also accept tires. A private company will be here to <br />accept them for a fee.
