APPOINTMENT TO NLC COMMITTEESVacar'ies on policy committees will be filled prior to the conference. <br />Several city officials have already indicated interest in appointment <br />to those vacant positions. They will receive notice of their <br />appointments later this summer. <br />Those officials interested in being considered for appointment to 1991 <br />NLC policy committees are encouraged to contact the League following <br />the conference. NLC policy committee appointments and nominations for <br />appointment to steering committee positions (by NLC steering committee <br />chairs) will be made in January - February, 1991, for terms that end <br />following the 1991 NLC annual conferenc;- Appointments to NLC policy <br />committees and nomination for reappointment to NLC steering committee <br />positions are also determined by the LMC President.
