The LMCD shall pay to the Cities from funds received pursuant to <br />Section II.A of this Agreement 50% of all reasonable ordinance adoption <br />expenses (described in item 4, below) up to a maximum of: a) $2,500.00 for <br />each of the Cities of Deephaven, Excelsior, Greenwood, Minnetonka, Minnetonka <br />Beach, Mound, Spring Park, Tonka Bay, Wayzata and Woodland, and b) $5,000.00 <br />for each of the Cities of Minnetrista, Orono, Shorewood and Victoria. <br />4. Documentation of Actual Costs. The LMCD agrees to provide to the <br />State documentation of all actual eligible costs, defined below, in the <br />adoption of shoreland ordinances for the Cities, and the coordination of <br />sh^reland ordinance adoption by the local governments lifted in item B.I., <br />above. Examples of allowable costs are: <br />a) Publishing costs for hearing notices and ordinance provisions; <br />b) Consultants fees and/or legal fees involved in the ordinance <br />adoption process; ** <br />c) Hailing costs associated with ordinance adoption and publication; <br />d) Education and training costs including, expenses for attending <br />the DNR workshops; <br />e) Costs of holcififi public information mratings; <br />f) Costs of shoreland classification reviews, including map <br />revisions and ordinance development; <br />g) Costs for comprehensive plan development and revisions pertaining <br />to the shoreland district only, unless combined with the <br />•i <br />Floodplaii and/or Wild and Scenic Rivers program.. <br />h) Costs for upgrading zoning administration forms such as: permit <br />application, permit certification, variances, conditional uses, <br />special uses, zoning changes, amendments. <br />i) Costs resulting from tasks performed by local appointed <br />officials, employees or staff involved in the adoption process of <br />a shoreland ordinance. <br />3
