ORDINANCE NO., 2ND SERIES <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ORONO, MINNESOTA, AMENDING ORONO CITY <br />CODE CHAPTER 2 ENTITLED "ADMINISTRATION AND GENERAL GOVERNMENT” <br />AND ORDINANCE NUMBER 23, 2ND SERIES, ADOPTED AUGUST 11, 1986, BY <br />CHANGING A PROVISION RELATING TO SALARIES OF THE MAYOR AND <br />COUNCIL MEMBERS; AND BY ADOPTING BY REFERENCE ORONO CITY CODE <br />CHAPTER 1 RELATING TO DEFINITIONS AND GENERAL PROVISIONS. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORONO ORDAINS: <br />Ordinance No. 23, 2nd Series is hereby amended to tead: <br />Sec. 2.17. SALARIES OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL MEMBERS. <br />Subd. 1, Salaries of the Mayor and Council <br />members, effective January 1, 1991, and which amounts are deemed <br />reasonable, are hereby fixed as follows: <br />A. The salary of the Mayor shall be $3,900.00 per <br />year, paid monthly. <br />B. The salary of each Council member shall be <br />$3,125.00 per year, paid monthly. <br />This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from <br />and after the date of its passage and publication. <br />Passed by the City Council this 13th day of August, <br />1990, by a vote _ _ _ ayes and _ _ _ nays. <br />ATTEST: <br />James R.
