The Commission should discuss the square footage of the barn proposed to remain on Lot 1. <br />2. A shared driveway is proposed off of Co Rd. 6. A shared driveway easement and maintenance <br />agreement should be submitted with the final plat. Does the commission have any concerns <br />or questions regarding shared driveway? <br />3. Does the Commission have any issues or concerns with this application that weren’t <br />addressed within the report? <br /> <br />Planning Staff Recommendation <br />This application contemplates a simple lot split. However, as there is no simplified process, the <br />applicant will still be required to prepare a Final Plat for approval and recording. <br /> <br />Planning Staff recommends approval of the preliminary plat without modification to the existing barn. <br />Regarding the barn, once the property is split, the barn becomes a legal nonconforming building and <br />cannot be modified to expand the footprint, height, or volume. <br />11
