TRUNK HIGH\A/i^rh <br />Tier 1EIS Corridor Deveiopement <br />Mn/DOT Metro District - Goiden Vaiiey <br />UPDATE — JUNE 19, 1990 <br />Finallyl The contract with the consulting firm of <br />Howard Needles Tammen & Bergendoff (HNTL)_has finally been <br />signed and approved. They will begin work on the project <br />immediately. I met recently with Larry Dallam of HNTB to <br />discuss how to begin the full scale scoping process. We <br />decided at that point to delay the advisory committee <br />meetings scheduled for June until we have more time to <br />organize the technical approach. In the meantime, Larry and <br />I will be meeti with each city individually to give <br />everyor- a chan o spell out their desires and concerns. <br />I wil’ ntc. ig each city very shortly to arrange these <br />meet: <br />0 aerial photography mosaics have been ordered <br />and sh arrive any time now. As soon as they come in I <br />will get a copy to each city for their use. <br />I know that this process has been moving along very <br />slowly and I thank everyone for their patience.
