Newspaper Notification <br />B. Current Representatives <br />ISSUE - <br />1. Allow Council the opportuniuy to interview individuals <br />interested in serving on the West Hennepin Human Services <br />Planning Board. <br />2. Appointment to that body. <br />INTRODUCTION - The City has been represented on the West <br />Hennepin Human Services Board by two primary appointments and an <br />alternate. LaDean McWilliams continues as a primary <br />representative. The City had appointed Marc McCabe, however, <br />there apparently was not enough interest by Mr. McCabe in <br />fulfilling the appointment. <br />DISCUSSION - At the time Mr. McCabe was appointed there were not <br />others interested in the position and as such no alternate was <br />appointed. <br />Notice was placed in the paper for the week of June 4, 1990 to <br />determine if anyone was interested in the matter. To date the <br />following individuals have applied. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />1. Interview. <br />2. Select. <br />3. Table for further consideration. <br />4. Extend timeline for additional applicants. <br />RECOMMENDATION - It is recommended that the Council extend the <br />timeline for applications for this position.
