Carman Bay Lake Improvement District Levy—Resolution 7513 <br /> The City Council is requested to review the Staff report,receive a presentation, and discuss and adopt the <br /> resolution regarding the Carman Bay Lake Improvement District Levy. <br /> The Council discussed the item and asked questions of the district representative. <br /> Johnson moved, Crosby seconded, to adopt Resolution 7513 certifying the assessment roll for the <br /> Carman Bay Lake Improvement District. VOTE: Ayes 5,Nays 0. <br /> COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT REPORT <br /> 22. LA24-000043, 1760 Shadywood Rd,Variances <br /> The City Council is requested to review the Staff report,receive a presentation,and discuss and take <br /> action on the resolution for the variances. Staff is recommending denial of the side-yard setback variance. <br /> The Council discussed the item and asked questions of staff and the applicant,Mike Eckert, architect, St. <br /> Paul, and invited public comments. <br /> Gretchen Shaw, 1750 Shadywood Rd.,provided comments. <br /> Council discussion centered on the non-conforming aspects of the application. <br /> Veach moved,Johnson seconded,to approve the proposed hardcover level of 27.7% supporting the <br /> project including the required driveway turnaround and denying the requested setback variances. <br /> VOTE: Ayes 5,Nays 0. <br /> Community Development Director Oakden presented data on September 2024 permit revenue.
