Motion carried unanimously. <br />Hurr asked about the boat purchased in 1989. The executive <br />director responded it will be be regained to be used for dock <br />and other lake and weed inspections,particularly if an <br />Administrative Technician is employed. <br />e) Weed Harvest Equipment Operators <br />Reese moved, Boswinkel seconded, to designate Chair <br />Reese and the executive director to hire weed harvest equipment <br />operators within budget provisions for the planned harvest period <br />of 5-29-90 through 9-7-90 to include up to three days advance <br />training prior to 5-29-90. Project Manager Norm Paurus is <br />interviewing and recommending the candidates to be hired. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />f) Private Fund Solicitation Progress <br />The executive director reported $28,600 has been <br />received toward the goal of $55,000. Hurr was assured that the <br />equipment operators employment is based on budgeted funds being <br />raised and available. Operators are subject to lay off or <br />termination if the need exists.
