For plan years beginning in 1990 or <br />later, this practice will no longer apply to the <br />health care account and claims will be reimbursed <br />up to the remaining amount of the employee's <br />coverage, whether or not the employee's account <br />balance is greater than the amount of the claim. <br />4. summary jrt Produced - A summary report of all <br />financial activity in participant accounts for the <br />period (including deposits, claims approved, <br />claims paid, claims suspended and ending balances) <br />is produced and sent to the plan sponsor at the <br />end of each processing period. <br />5. Reimbursement Checks Distributed - The employer <br />deposits or wire transfers to a special account <br />the exact amount necessary to cover total <br />participant reimbursements for the processing <br />period. When the employer deposit is received in <br />the universal checliing account maintained by DCA <br />for Flexible Spending Account plans, DCA releases <br />the participant checlcs and explanatory stubs for <br />distribution. Participant checks may be sent in <br />batch to the employer or mailed to participants' <br />homes.
