Secretary Position - Resignation and Employment <br />SUE - Accept Theresa Stahl's resignation and authorize <br />employment of person to fill secretary position. <br />DISCUSSION - As noted in Attachment A person had been selected to <br />fill the secretary position left vacant by Theresa Stahl's <br />resignation. On Monday, March 26th this person called stating <br />she would have to withdraw from the position because she and her <br />family were going to be moving to New Prague. Their home in <br />Independence was being included in a large development and an <br />offer they had made on property in New Prague had been accepted. <br />Teri Naab and I again reviewed the applications and interviewed <br />five persons during the week of April 2nd. At the present time a <br />final selection decision has not been made and I would like to <br />request that Council accept Theresa Stahl's resignation and <br />authorize hiring a person to fill the secretary position. This <br />employment will be presented at the April 23, 1990 meeting for <br />Council's final approval. <br />TO: Mayor and City Council <br />FROM; Mark E.
