RECOMMENDATION <br />1. I would certainly not recoimnend against including the Oxford <br />Road lakeshore properties if the property owners wanted the <br />sewer, although there is no compelling need for sewer. Since a <br />number of those house are lower than the road, it might be most <br />advantageous for their hook-ups if the pipe was between the <br />houses and the shoreline. <br />2. The four houses that abut Bayside Road again have alternate <br />sites ava'*lable and have no compelling need for sewer, but could <br />easily be served by a line along the south side of Bayside Poad. <br />Alternately, service stubs could be jacked under Bayside to serve <br />them from a line north of the road. <br />3. In the two scenarios above the residents at 500 Oxford Poad <br />would not be served but this property appears to have alternate <br />sites available. <br />3. Christine Drive. - These four lots have recently developed, <br />all being 2 or more acres in area and all using mound sytems. <br />Each lot has at least one alternate site available. There is no <br />compelling need to sewer these properties. If a sewer line is <br />inst^alled along the south side of the Luce Line, stubs would have <br />to be brought to the north side to serve these homes. <br />PECOMMENDATION - There is no need to provide sewer to these <br />prop^ties at this time nor in the foreseeable future, <br />4. Properties requesting exeaption from sewer project inclusion^ <br />A. 3620/3630 Eileen Street <br />The Whitman property at 3620 Eileen Street has been calculated to <br />contain 1.80 acres of land. The existing system includes 2 <br />tanks, a pump tank and 1,000 sq. ft. of trench drainfield <br />installed in 1975. The system has never shown any visible signs <br />of failure. <br />Even thouoh this lot appears to have some extremely steep slopes <br />on three slides, there is ample room for drainfield trenches to be <br />extended or replaced if the soils informatio' <br />trenches would be feasible. However, if the existing trench <br />system fails, I would not urprised to find soil conditions <br />dictating that a mound is rsary due to seasonal saturation <br />zones (which are possible f on this hill). The only apparent <br />area with slope suitable . v^r a mound is at the northwest corner <br />of the lot, and this area could contain only one mound system at <br />best. <br />The isles property at 3630 Eileen Street has been calculated to <br />contain 2.05 acres in area. The system consists of two 1,000 <br />gallon tanks and 1,200 sq. ft. of trench drainfield installed in
