Gerhardson, Public Works Director <br />February 21, 1990 <br />Public Hearing Date - Year XVI Community Development <br />Block Grant - March 26, 1990 - 7:00 p.m. <br />For the past fifteen yeras, the City of Orono has received <br />funds from HUD by way of the Community Development Block Grant <br />Program. The funds have been allocated in the past: <br />Park Playground Development <br />Handicap Access at Voting Precinct <br />comprehensive Planning <br />Shade Tree Disease Program <br />Sanitary Sewer Assessments <br />Rehabilitation of Private Property <br />Westonka Intervention <br />One of the requirements for receiving funds is <br />public hearing to receive citizen input. For Year XVI the City <br />is to receive an estimated $23,412.00. <br />Recomaendation - To set a public hearing on March 26, 1990, 7:00 <br />p.m. to receive citizen input for allocating Community <br />Development Block Grant funds for Year XVT. <br />Proposed Notion - Moved by ___, seconded by -----, to set a <br />hearing on March 26, 1990, 7:00 p.m. to receive cltiren <br />allocating Community Development Block Grant funds for Year XVI. <br />Ayes ___, nays ___. <br />Mayor and City Council <br />Mark E.
