Date: October 14, 2024 Item: 21 <br />Presenter: Maggie Jin, Finance Director <br />Section: Finance Report <br /> <br />Title: Carman Bay Lake Improvement District Levy - Resolution 7513 <br /> <br /> <br />1.Purpose: <br />The purpose of this agenda item is to adopt a Resolution 7513 Certifying the Assessment Roll of <br />the Carman Bay Lake Improvement District. Steve Nielsen, past chairman, of the Carmen Bay LID <br />is present to provide a brief recap. <br />2.Background: <br />On July 24th, 2017, the Orono City Council passed Resolution 6781 approving the establishment <br />of the Carman Bay Lake Improvement District. The district is required to hold an annual meeting <br />to adopt an annual budget and tax roll. On September 17, 2024 the district held its annual meeting <br />and adopted its 2025 budget and tax roll.
