Valves shall have two position lever handles. <br />D.Checic valves 2" and smaller shall be bronze threaded, Y-pat <br />tern, 200# WOG swing checic valves or equivalent. Valves <br />2-1/2" and larger shall be iron body, flanged, 200# WOG <br />swing checic valves with bronze trim or equivalent. <br />E.Balancing valves 2" and smaller shall be brass body ball <br />valves with memory stops. Balance valves shall provide <br />drip tight shut off. <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br />3.01 <br />A. <br />GENERAL <br />Isolating valves shall be provided at all equipment with <br />piping offsets and unions for easy removal of equipment. <br />B.Valves shall be placed on all piping tees installed for <br />future connection and at every talce-off. <br />C.All stop valves shall be installed with stem in a horizontal <br />position wherever possible.
