9 W <br />u <br />t <br />t <br />I <br />1 <br />I <br />H. <br />I. <br />3.03 <br />A. <br />B. <br />C. <br />3.04 <br />A. <br />•Jb<'-'. <br />3. <br />4. <br />5. <br />of weldolets will be permitted in lieu of welding tees <br />in welding lines provided they are installed in prefab* <br />ricated assemblies and the pipe interior is cleaned of <br />slag. <br />Mitered reducers will not be permitted in welded lines. <br />Reductions in lines shall be made with welding reducers. <br />Pipe caps in welded lines may be fabricated from flat <br />steel plate cut round and inserted into the pipe. A <br />sufficient depth to permit a fillet weld equal to the <br />plate thickness. <br />The pipe ends in all tees, laterals and reducers shall <br />be careful' i.repared to provide for proper weld pene* <br />tration : xordance with ASA Standards. <br />Equipment piping shall also include wastes and drains which <br />are safewasted without a direct connection. <br />Exposed piping shall be installed in a sanitary manner for <br />ease in cleaning. <br />CONNECTIONS TO MISCELLANEOUS EQUIPMENT <br />Due to the fact that the manufacturer of the equipment pur <br />chased may vary slightly which may require some rearranging <br />of equipment and piping, the Contractor shall make connections <br />to such rearranged equipment without additional cost to the <br />Owner. That is for an initial installation arrangement other <br />than that indicated on the Drawings. <br />This Contractor shall make all water, gas, condensate drain <br />age, ductwork connections, etc., to all equipment. This <br />includes furnishing and installing piping shut-uff valves, <br />unions, fittings, ductwork, control devices and insulation, <br />etc. <br />The Mechanical Contractor shall coordinate work between the <br />various trades to insure proper installation and operation <br />of all systems.
