LA24-000037 Mark Ferry & Elizabeth Flynn Ferry, 3545 Ivy Place, ALS Variance <br /> <br />The Planning Commission is requested to review the Staff report, receive a presentation, and discuss and <br />approve an average lakeshore setback variance due to the difficulties of developing the lot and the shape <br />of the neighboring lot. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission discussed the item and asked questions of staff and the applicants, Mark and <br />Elizabeth Ferry, currently of Wayzata. <br /> <br />Chair Bollis opened the public hearing at 7:18 p.m. <br /> <br />There were no public comments, <br /> <br />Chair Bollis closed the public hearing at 7:18 p.m. <br /> <br />Commissioners noted the building plan for a new home actually improves the neighbor’s lake view and <br />improves all other situations. The Average Lakeshore Setback requirements make the lot unbuildable. <br /> <br />Ressler moved, Libby seconded, to approve LA24-000037, 3545 Ivy Place, ALS Variance. VOTE: <br />Ayes: 6, Nays 0. <br /> <br /> <br />82
