SUESS. <br />2S90 WATERTOWN ROAD - <br />PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION - RESOLUTION #3045 <br />It was novad by Butlar, seconded by Mayor Peterson, to adopt <br />Resolution #3045 for Application #1683 for Robert F. Suess, 2590 <br />Watertown Road, approving preliminary plat approval. Ayes 4, <br />nays 0. <br />(*#6) #1669 TERRY SADLER. <br />1396 BA*.DUR PARK ROAD > <br />VARIANCES - RESOLUTION #3046 <br />It was moved by Butler, seconded by Jabbour, to adopt Resolution <br />#3046 for Application #1689 for Terry Sadler of 1396 Baldur Park <br />Road, for variances to construct a three season porch In place of <br />a deck. <br />(#7) #1691 CITY OF LONG LAKE, <br />130 ORONO ORCHARD ROAD NORTH - <br />PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION - COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT <br />Jeff Roos was present for this application. <br />Moorse noted that the Planning Commission recommended approval of <br />this application. <br />Mabusth explained this application Is a request for preliminary <br />subdivision approval of a 13 lot PRO. conditional use permit and <br />a coeprehensive plan amendment to provide sewer 6'd water to the <br />lots. She noted that sewer and water will be provided Ly Long <br />Lake to be credited against Long Lake's allowance. An area <br />variance would need to be approved as the property contains 24.5 <br />acres where 26 acres are required. A public road Is proposed, <br />with a future extension to the railroad to serve property on the <br />north side of the railroad. The city Is recommending conceptual <br />direction pending receipt of a grading plan. She Indicated that <br />the roadway has been shifted northward, and will require filling <br />in that area to raise the roadway. Mabusth Indicated that <br />covenants will be filed In the chaln-of-title governing future <br />development when property is relocated within the City of Long <br />Lake. The Planning Commission made suggestions for development <br />criteria In the covenant which are noted In the memo. Mabusth <br />received a call from Mr. Palmer, property owner to the east, to <br />discuss limiting access. Palmer wanted no permanent or temporary <br />vehicular access by the Long Lake residents of this subdivision <br />to the private road within Orono. <br />Roos explained a grading plan will be finaled and reviewed with <br />Orono staff the following Monday. <br />Mayor Peterson questioned the outlet extending to <br />property. <br />Wolf's <br />■ ■
