He noted that in earlier <br />meetings with the officials of the City of Orono, there <br />was discussion as to a need to define permanent barrier <br />to Orono Oaks Drive for residents in proposed <br />Orono Oaks subdivision. Staff would ask Council if an <br />additional covenant might net address the following <br />concern of Nr. Palmer: <br />"No permanent, temporary or informal vehicular or <br />pedestrian access shall be permitted to Orono Oaks <br />Drive, a private road within the City of Orono, <br />for Lots 1, 2, 3, 7 and 8.* <br />Each pad shall be limited to 15% of lot coverage. s <br />shall include footprint area of all structures wi'r.ln <br />building pads. <br />The following shall not be permitted within the <br />residential PRD: <br />a. <br />b. <br />c. <br />d. <br />e. <br />Guest houses <br />Rental apartments <br />Home occupations <br />Duplex use <br />Keeping of domestic animals for non­ <br />commercial purposes (this does not include normal <br />household pets) <br />Appropriate public easements to be taken over all <br />uti'^lities and drainageways not included within public <br />toad right-of-ways. Final plat should show road names <br />rather than outlets if roads are to be public. <br />Final plat to designate lagoon/pond as an outlot. <br />Open space easement shall be taken over the outlot to <br />insure density credit for wetlands per PRD ordinance. <br />Drainage easements are to be shown over the entire pond <br />defined as a DNR protected wetland with specific <br />numerical designation. All wetland areas or additional <br />retention areas are to be designated with drainage <br />easements.
