September 25, 1991 <br />Tonka Bay City Ball <br />Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Chair <br />at 7:35 p.m. <br />Cochran <br />Members Present: Bert Foster, Vice Chair, Deephaven; James <br />Grathwol, Excelsior: David Cochran, Chair, Greenwood; Robert <br />Plllsbury, Minnetonka; Scott Carlson, Minnetrista; Thomas Reese, <br />Mound; JoEllen Burr, Orono; Robert Rascop, Shorewood; Douglas <br />Babcock, Secretary, Spring Park (arrived as noted); Marvin <br />BJorlin, Tonka Bay; David Bartos, Victoria: Thomas Martinson, <br />Wayzata (arrived as noted); Robert Slocum, Woodland. Also <br />present: Sgt. Wm. Chandler, Sheriff's Water Patrol: Charles <br />LeFevere, Counsel; Rachel Thibault, Administrative Technician; <br />Eugene Strommen, Executive Director. <br />Member Absent: Jan Boswinkel, Treasurer, Minn'--onka Beach. <br />Reading of Minutes: Bjorlin moved, Rascop seconded, to approve <br />the minutes of 8/28/91 meeting as submitted. Motion carried. <br />Public Comments: There were no comments from persons <br />attendance not on the agenda. <br />Chair Announcements: <br />Executive Session Notice: Cochran announced the Board will <br />meet in executive session s'*-- the conclusion of the meeting to <br />discuss pending litigation. <br />Agenda Amendment: At e invitation of Chair Cochran, <br />Slocum moved, Foster seconded, «o amend the agenda by moving the <br />Advisory Committee report to the last item on the agenda, before <br />the executive session. Motion carried. <br />Committee Reports <br />1. LAKE USE. Chair Pillsbury <br />A. Approval of Minutes. Pillsbury moved, <br />seconded, to approve the minutes of the 9/16/91 <br />Committee meeting as submitted. Motion carried. <br />Grathwol <br />Lake Use <br />Map Update. Pillsbury noted the Committee discussion of the <br />updating of the Hennepin County Lake Minnetonka map. He <br />requested input to staff from all interested parties as to <br />correct ons or suggested additions. Staff is also preparing some <br />recommeujations. <br />B. Signs in (Channels. Pillsbury moved, Foster seconded, to <br />adopt a Resolution limiting channel signage to navigational signs <br />only. Motion carried.
