RESOLUTION^ <br />A RESOLUTION 0B9IGNAT1NO A PROJECT REPRESENTATIVE <br />AND AUTBQRmNO SURMTITAL OF A <br />CLEAN WATER PARTNERSHIP GRANT APPUCATION FOR <br />LONG LAKE, HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />WHEREAS concema have been identified regarding the water quality of Long Lake and <br />any exiating or potential impacte on lake resourcei and lake uee; and, <br />WHEREAS the City of Orono wiahea to implenent appropriate action to restore or protect <br />the water quality of Long Lake, <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Orono that It hereby agrees to provide in>kind services for <br />the Long Lake Phase 11 Implementation Project in the form of participation in a public <br />information/aducation committae; and designatae Loren Larson of James M. <br />Montgomery, Consulting Engineers, Inc. as the ^qjeet Representative for the Long Lake <br />Implementation project's p: ‘tosed Clean Water Partnership Phase II project <br />Implementation Plan. The value of the above stated in*ki services is estimated to total <br />$16,600.00 for tha five year prqject duration. <br />The Project Representative shall have the authority to represent the Cit>* of Orono in all <br />matters that do not epeeifically require action by tha City Council. The Minnesota <br />Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) shall direct Clean Water Partnership Application <br />correepondence and Clean Water Partnership Project correspondence to the Project <br />Representative and shall consider correspondence form and action on tha part of the <br />Project Representative as repreeentatloni and actions taken by the City Council. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City of Orono, that the Project Representative <br />designated above it hereby authorized to submit to the M^'IA a Clean Water Partnership <br />Phase II Project Implementation Grant Application for . e Long Lake Implementation <br />Project. <br />Resolution Introduced By:Council Member. <br />Resolution Seconded By Council <br />Vote on Resolution:eyes neye <br />Whereupon the above Resolution was adopted at the (Date) <br />the Orono City Council. <br />.meeting of <br />Barbara J.
