Zoning File #1678
September 19r 1991
Page 4
The applicant was concerned with the impact on the property
if the directives of the Planning Commission were followed and
asked the Council to consider their preferred option. Exhibits o
- 1 through 2. Applicant would still retain ability to access
the upper level and turn around to connect to the main drive
leading to and from property. Installation of the apron would
result in the loss of a tree and increase the potential for
accident by moving a backout apron so close to the 8' drop in
elevation. Hardcover fact sheets shows the same amount of
hardcover reduction at 33.4%.
In light of the pressures upon applicant to commence
construction because of the time of year and the lack of a
heating system within the structure^ staff has drafted an
approval resolution based on applicant's amended proposal. If
meters feel the Planning Commission's recommendations option is
more appropriate, the resolution can be easily amended to include
the removal of the middle drive and the installation of the
apron. A member of the Planning Commission may be present in the
audience to comment on applicant's 2unended proposal.
.. r
