A RBSOLOTION GRANTING <br />A CONDITIONAL USB PERMIT <br />PER MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTIONS 10.27, SUBDIVISION 3 (A) AND <br />10.75, SUBDIVISIONS 1 AND 2 <br />PILE #1676 <br />NBBRBAS, the City of Orono, (hereinafter "the <br />applicant") has an interest in the property located at 700 Old <br />Crystal Bay Road North within the City of Orono (hereinafter <br />"City") and legally described as Lot 1, Block 1, City of Orono <br />Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter "property"); <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has applied for a conditional <br />use permit per Municipal "oning Code Section 10.27, Subdivision <br />3 (A) that would allow an elevated tank or water tower requiring <br />a minimum 50' setback from all lot lines and a conditional use <br />permit per Section 10.75, Subdivisions 1 and 2 that would allow <br />the elevated tower to exceed the allowed height of 30' and the <br />additional length of 45' at a maximum height of approximately <br />145*. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br />Orono, Minnesota: <br />FINDINGS <br />1. This application was reviewed as Zoning Pile #1676. <br />2. The property is located in the RR-IB Rural Residential <br />Zoning District requiring 2 acres in area. The <br />property consists of 14.11 acres. <br />3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application <br />on August 19, 1991 and September 16, 1991 and <br />recommended approval of the conditional use permit <br />based upon the following findings: <br />Page 1 of 4
