tU ‘ <br />'ir.. <br />5&’'.': <br />^n:- <br />LMCD Board of Directors Juir 24, 1991 <br />5. FIMAMCIAL REPORTS, Treasurer Boswinkel <br />A. The Board received the Statement of Cash Transactions <br />for the month ending 6/30/91 and ordered it filed. <br />B. Martinson moved, Slocum seconded, to approve the pajrment <br />of bills in the amount of $57,042.50, Check Nos. 8000 thru 8064. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />C. The Executive Director reported the first quarter <br />report will be available in August. The delay is caused by <br />changes in format and inclusion of a budget comparison. <br />6. ADTIBORT COItfITTEE. Strommen for Chair Rascop <br />The executive director introduced James Uttley, Metropolitan <br />Council, facilitator for the Management Plan. <br />Ottley presented the latest draft of the combined <br />Rnvlronmental and Shoreland Protection section of the Management <br />Plan. A Joint meeting of the cities and Board on 7/17 resulted <br />in some changes. Ottley reviewed the changes along with comments <br />from Ann Perry, Senior Planner, City of Minnetonka. Reese asked <br />that the reference to “preventing" the spread of Eurasian Water <br />Milfoil be changed to “limiting". <br />Foster moved, Babcock seconded, to approve the revised <br />OMibined Environmental and Shoreland Protection section of the <br />Management Plan as amended. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Uttley said he has work to do on the Recreational Chapter, <br />'Governmental and Funding. He would like to complete the work by <br />the end of August. <br />Hurr reported that Ed Fick, Regional Hydrologist for the <br />OMR. serving on the Technical Review Committee, will ask the DNR <br />to request the Metropolitan Council for the services of James <br />Uttley as Chair of the Technical Review Committee. <br />The executive director reported that Steve Prestin, LMCD <br />consultant for the Shoreland Rules adoption, will meet with the <br />cities one on one and serve as facilitator for the LMCD. <br />7.4 < .A»TIVB DIRECTOR REPORT, Strommen <br />Board <br />Strommen had no additional business to bring before the <br />^miSBED BUSIMESS There was no unfinished business. <br />ADJ IT Cochran declared the meeting adjourned at 9^25 p.m. <br />David Cochran, Chair <br />Douglas Babcock, Secretary
