r <br />r ■ <br />!%■ <br />V- <br />t, <br />% <br />! <br />^fK <br />» <br />V-- ■: <br />it'"' <br />*. •;fe <br />L’ <br />!■•*-■ <br />K- .*•%t <br />ii‘ <br />liV <br />is' <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING - AUGUST 26, 1991 <br />(#iS) 1992 BUDGET & PUBLIC HEARING OATES <br />RESOLUTION #3010 <br />It was moved by Callahan, seconded by Jabbour, to establish <br />October 10, 1991 at 5:00 p*'^- the Council Chambers as the <br />BudQet Work Session date; to estaolish November 19, 1991. 7:00 <br />p.m In the Council Chambers as the initial Budget Hearing date: <br />and to establish Decemcer 4, 1991 at 7:00 p.m. in the Counci : <br />Chambers for the reconvened Budget Hearing Date; and to adopt <br />Resolution #3010 approving the proposed maximum 1991 tax levy <br />collectible In 1992 of $1,961,381; and to establish the maximum <br />proposed 1992 General Fund expenditure budnet in the amount of <br />$3,129,330, Ayes 4. nays 0. <br />Callahan requested Kuehn to contact all Counc1Imembers the <br />last week in October to confirm the budget hearing dates. <br />(#16*) CITY FACILITIES PROGRESS REPORT <br />It was moved by Butler, seconded by Goetten, to accept the <br />Information as presented fra' Mr. Boarman regarding the facility <br />design. Ayes 4, nays 0. <br />(#17”) RECYCLING MULTI-DWELLING - RESOLUTION #3011 <br />It was moved by Butler, seconded by Goetten. to approve <br />Resolution #3011 allowing for multiple dwelling recycling in the <br />City of Orono effective August 26 1991. Ayes 4, nays 0. <br />(#!•*) EMPLOYMENT SECRETARY/RECEPTIONIST <br />It was moved by Butler, seconded by Goetten, to employ <br />Carole Haseman as secretary/receptionist at Level 4, Step 1, at <br />$10,187 per hour effective September 9, 1991. In accordance with <br />the Personnel Policy, Carole will have regular reviews of her <br />performance during the l year probationary period. After <br />completion of satisfactory performance during the probationary <br />period Carole will bo eligible for a salary increase to Level 4, <br />Step 2. September 9. 1991. Ayes 4, nays 0. <br />(#19*) TEMPORARY SALARY ADJUSTMENT - JAMIE BOSMA <br />It was moved by Butler, seconded by Goetten, Council <br />approves the temporary classification change for Jamie Bosma from <br />a part-time regular position. Level II, Step 4 ($9,549 per hour), <br />to full-time Level IV, Stop 1 ($10,187 per hour) effective August <br />12. 1991 until September 9, 1991. At that time Jamie*s <br />classification will revert to part-time regular position Level <br />II. Stop 4 ($9,549 per hour). Ayes 4, nays 0, <br />(#20*) APPOINTMENTS RESOLUTION #3012 <br />It was moved by Butler, seconded by Goetten, to approve <br />Resolution #3012 and Resolution #3013 as amended on August 12. <br />1991. Ayes 4, nays 0.
