Date: July 8, 2024 Item: 22 <br />Presenter: Adam Edwards, City Administrator / Engineer <br />Section: City Administrator/Engineer Report <br /> <br />Title: Brown Road Improvement Project Planning and Engineering (Project #25- <br />002) <br /> <br /> <br />1.Purpose: <br />The purpose of this action item is to gain council approval to commence the planning and engineering of the <br />Brown Road Improvement Project <br />2.Background: <br />At the May 13, 2024 Council Work Session, the Council provided direction for 2025 street projects. Brown <br />Road which is a Municipal State Aid Street was recommended for 2025. <br />3.Scope: <br />Planning and engineering will consist of topographic surveying, utility inspections, design, permitting, public <br />input and solicitation of bids for select roads. <br />4.Cost: <br /> a. Bolton and Menk has provided a scope of services for a fee estimate not to exceed $49,800 (Exhibit A). <br /> b.
