areas of existing trees to remain. In response to public comment, the Commission <br />recommended the Developer extend the tree preservation north along the eastern boundary <br />with the neighbors' driveway. The Developer has provided a revised Tree Preservation Plan <br />which reflects the extension of the preservation area, attached as Exhibit F. <br />2. In the memo, Staff noted that 13 additional trees are required. During the discussion, the <br />Developer clarified that they intend to protect many of the higher quality existing trees <br />which they feel will satisfy the requirement. <br />3. Planning Commission inquired about the proposed development signage noting the property <br />is situated along the Open Enclosure Corridor identified in the Rural Oasis Study. The <br />Developer has provided an updated rendering of the proposed signage, attached as Exhibit <br />G. <br />5.Public Comment: <br />Preliminary comments from Hennepin County Transportation and the DNR were received. The <br />Minnehaha Creek Watershed District has not yet complete their review and comments will be <br />forthcoming. The forthcoming final plans shall comply with the permitting requirements from all <br />regulatory agencies. <br /> <br />Public comments were received during the public hearing on June 17th .
