Thomas Judd» Hassel & Enlow <br />Re: Application #1606 - Big Island Inc., Conditional Use Permit <br />May 3, 1991 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />In your re—submittal information, please address the discrepency <br />between the number of membership shares available under the <br />Articles of Amendment and the 2unended By-Laws of Big Island Inc. <br />The Articles of Amendment limit shares to a total of 200? the <br />amended By-Laws limit issuance of shares to 65. How will you <br />respond to the City's concern that total membership be limited to <br />100? Can you provide actual membership statistics (i.e. spouse, <br />children, etc.)7..or have you any other ideas in addressing these <br />concerns? <br />Tom, I have enclosed a special lot combination form for your <br />review. We understand the difficulties with the inability to <br />legally combine both parcels. The execution of the special lot <br />combination during this interim period will address the City's <br />concerns. I have also enclosed a copy of the original notice of <br />Planning Commission action sent to you November 27, 1990 that <br />will provide an additional check off list to assure a complete <br />preparation for your second review before the Planning <br />Commission. <br />Lyle Oman and I would like to have you convey our <br />greatfulness to Pat Hanily for showing us the facility. <br />Improvements shown on plans have more meaning when you are <br />to visit the site and see them, especially on a sunny, bright <br />day. <br />Onfortunately, if you have had a chance to review the dead <br />line schedules for upcoming meetings, you will know that you are <br />unable to make the May agenda. In fact, I suggest, Tom, that we <br />meet at your earliest convenience to discuss the preparation of <br />the submittals for an upcoming Planning Commission meeting.
