However, there has been no discussion on placinc a ceiling <br />on the amount of bonds tc be issued through the HRA. <br />Bernhardson stated that as long as there are outstanding <br />bonds, the HRA cannot be dissolved. <br />Mayor Petersen indicated that it may be appropriate to limit <br />the amount of bonds issued as a condition of establishing the <br />HRA. <br />Jabbour agreed with Mayor Peterson. <br />There were no additional comments from the public regarding <br />this matter, and Mayor Peterson closed the Public Hearing at 7:20 <br />p.m <br />It was moved by Callahan, seconded by Jabbour, to adopt <br />Resolution -2998, making the necessary findings for the <br />implementation of a Housing and Pedevelooment Authority within <br />the City of Orono. Callahan read, aloud, the Resolution for the <br />benefit of those persons attending the Public Hearing on this <br />matter. Motion, Ayes-3, Mayor Peterson, Nay. Motion passed. <br />lu was moved by Callahan, seconded by Mayor Peterson, to <br />appoint the members of the Orono City Council as the menbers of <br />the Board of Directors of the Housing and Redevelopment <br />Authority, and that they serve until their successors are <br />elected, or until one month after their term expires, v/hichever <br />occurs first. Jabbour indicated that he would like Charlie <br />Kelley to serve on the Board of Directors. Callahan indicated <br />that such an appointment would likely occur during the HRA <br />meeting, which would follow this meeting. All voted aye.
