Phones have been installed within the interior of the cabin and in a three season porch that remains unlocked throughout the year. Both septic inspectors have made an inspection of the facility this summer and noted no problem with the existing septic system. The use has not involved intensified development of the property and there is adequate undisturbed area available for suitable on-site septic use. The septic inspector will also be advised that this facility should be inspected or monitored on an annual basis and this action shooll be made a condition of this approval. Staff has reviewed the level of use propose ’ for overnight campiiig with the applicants. The applicants have advised that the cabin is sometimes use for overnight use and that two families have been known to tent at tha facility. Based on the level of use, we would classify this as occasional overnight camping and covered by code under the current day use conditional use permit. A cyclone fen e has been installed along the steep banks of the cliff tn provide safety. The City would recuire this fencing if the apr'ication is approved for day use reation.
