tSb OARD^DATE <br />Contract Changes <br />Tax Shelter <br />Annuities <br />HOARD QF <br />KnirrATiON <br />Special Law Approval <br />by Governing Body <br />Board Mee tings <br />Board Committee <br />Structure <br />IBoard <br />Representatives <br />The Board authonzed the Superintendent to amend teaching <br />contracts during 1991-92 according to lane change provisions <br />contained in the VVEA contract. <br />The Board authorized the Supenntendent to acknowledge <br />receipt and acceptance of requests for tax shelter annuity <br />modifications. <br />In order to conduct a mail ballot levy referendum authorized by the <br />State Legislature, the School Board (governing body) must approve <br />the speaal law resolution. The Board adopted RFSQLLTTIQN <br />REGARDING APPROVAL QF SPECIAL LAW BY GOVERNING <br />BODY <br />The Board adopted a meeting schedule for the 1991-92 academic <br />year. Unless otherwise speafied, regular Board meetirgs will be <br />held on the second Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m. at the <br />Administration Building. Work sessions will be held on the fourth <br />Monday at 4 p.m. <br />The 1991-92 School Board will function as a committee of the <br />whole with three standing committees. Each committee will have a <br />Board member as ^hair and an administrative liaison Marv Smith <br />will chair the Academic Services Ccmmittee; Bruce Halgren will be <br />the liaison. Howard Casmev is chair of the Finance and Business <br />Services Committee; Vogt is the admmistrative liaison. Chair <br />of the Human Resource Services Committee will be Paul Landrv: the <br />administrative liaisons will be Bruce Halgren (licensed personnel) <br />and Jerry Voyt (classified personnel). <br />An Audit Subcommittee will be chaired by Howard Casmev.
