Box 66 <br />Crystal Bay, Minnesota 55323 <br />RE: PROFESSIONAL SERVICES PROPOSAL <br />TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERING <br />CITY OF ORONO <br />Dear Mark: <br />Based on our discussions, we are pleased to submit this proposal <br />for transportation engineering services to the City of Orono. <br />We understand that our initial assignment would be to provide <br />technical support and assistance to the city in connection with <br />the ongoing studies of state Trunk Highway 12 alignments. <br />Our role would be to work with *“he City staff and other <br />consultants through t.^e review and analysis of proposals and <br />documents from the Minnesota Departmen*. of Transportation and .1,3 <br />consultants. This would include attendance at meetings, review <br />of traffic forecasts, review of layouts, development of findings <br />and conclusions and preparation of rotTicranda to the City. <br />We also understand that services may be requested in the areas of <br />review of the comprehensive transportation plan, analysis of <br />public/private street options, and other ongoing engineering <br />issues. <br />We would propose to be reimbursed for our services on an hourly <br />basis at a rate of 2.5 times salary cost for the actual time <br />expended, for the out-of-pocket expenses (printing, reproduction, <br />etc.) at cost and for mileage at a rate of $.26 per mile. <br />Invoices would be submitted on a monthly basis for work performed <br />during the previous month wi^n payment due within 30 days. <br />Our schedule of hourly rates for employees who woul'i work on the <br />project is attached. <br />We would do work only at the direction of staff and bill you for <br />actual services provided.
