Scheffler Letter Dated 7/1/91 <br />ISSUE - <br />1.Accept resignation of City Recorder Laurie Scheffler. <br />2,Request authorization to seek replacement under contract <br />conditions. <br />DISCUSSION - As noted in Attachment A, Laurie's '•ast meeting will <br />be the July 22« 1991 Council meeting. <br />It is with sincere regret that we accept Laurie's resi^ation as <br />City Recorder. She has performed her j a in a timely and <br />profession'^manner. As a result of this resignation I request <br />authority to seek a replacement to work under a contract. Prior <br />to hiring an individual this will be brought back for Council <br />approval. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by _, seconded by , Council accepts <br />with regret the resignation of Laurie ScnefTTer and wisher her <br />and her family the Lest in their new home in St. Louis, Missouri <br />together with authorizing staff to seek a replacement for the <br />position to be brought back to Council for approval.
