he/she .will during all times this contract is in <br />force maintain such licneses and qualifications. <br />2)ASSESSOR agrees to attend the Local Board of <br />Review Meeting on a date selected by the CITY, <br />plus attendance at not more than three other <br />City Council meetings in any one year. <br />3)ASSESSOR certifies that he/she has appropriate <br />liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000. <br />8. Effective Date of Agreement and Term. This Agree­ <br />ment shall be effective as of September 1, 1991, and employment <br />of the ASSESSOR to perform the services to be rendered hereunder <br />shall commence as of September 1, 1991, for the performance of <br />the 1991 real estate assessment, and continue until August 31, <br />1992; subject, however, to extension as hereinafter provided. <br />Either party may terminate this agreement on 90 days written <br />notice. <br />9. Agreement Extension. This Agreement may be extended <br />from year to year on terms to be agreed upon by the parties hereto <br />by the parties agreeing in writing to the same on or before the <br />first day of of August each year thereafter. If this Agreement is <br />not so extended and terminates according to its terms, ASSESSOR <br />agrees to deliver to city forthwith such records in an up to date <br />manner as he has in possession cor rning assessment of the CITY'S <br />real estate. It being understood that such records are the property <br />of the CITY. <br />10. Independent Contractor. It is agreed that nothing <br />herein contained is intended or should be construed in any i. anner <br />as creating or establishing the relationship of co-partners <br />between the parties hereto or as constituting the ASSESSOR as the <br />agent, representative or employee of the CITY for any purpose or <br />in any manner whatsoever. ASSESSOR is to be and shall remain an <br />independent contractor with respect to all services performed <br />under this Agreement. ASSESSOR represents that he/she has, or <br />will secure at his/her own expense, all personnel required in <br />performing services ■'n this Agreement. Any and all personnel of <br />ASSESSOR or other persons, while engaged in the performance of <br />any work or services required from the ASSESSOR under this <br />Agreement, shall have no contractual relationship with the CITY <br />and shall not be considered employees of the CITY and any and <br />ui- <br />r
