(• <br />■•I <br />resolution 8 1197 <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A RESPONSIBLE AUTHORITY <br />AND ASSIGNING DUTIES <br />WHFRFAS the Minnesota Governrr.ent Data Practices Act, <br />.. . ..stftutf; Sections 15.1611 to 15.1698 as aitended, requires <br />th^ City appoint one person as the Responsible Authority to <br />^SministL the requirements for collection, storage, use and <br />Si^Smit“ion of data on individuals, 90verns.ent da^a, and summary <br />data, within this City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is concerned with the responsible <br />use of City data and wishes to satisfy this concern by immediately <br />tmointLg an administratively qualified Responsible Authority as <br />required under the Act and assigning duties to that person. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF ORONO, MINNESOTA: <br />Practices Act, Minnesota Statutes, Section 15.161 <br />through 15.1698, as amended. <br />2 This" resolution implementing the Minnesota Governmen <br />Data Practices Act shall remain in force and effect <br />until modified by the City Council. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota <br />at a regular meeting held August 25, 1980. <br />Mary C.
