Motion carried. <br />adopt page 1 of the Underlying <br />Motion made and second to adopt page 2 of the Underlying <br />Principles, which includes a section or snoreiana proteccion. <br />Motion failed. <br />Shoreland Grant Agreement: <br />As of the time of the meeting, six cities have signed the <br />Shoreland Agreement - Deephaven, Excelsior, Minnetonka Beach, <br />Shore%«ood, Mound, and woodland. Six cities were waiting to see <br />outcome of this meeting before signing agreements - Minnetrista, <br />Minnetonka, Victoria, Tonka Bay, Greenwood, and Spring Park. *^o <br />cities, Orono and Wayzata, will not or likely will not sign <br />agreement. <br />The rwnaining issue to be resolved for Shoreland Grant Agreement <br />- Technical Committee. <br />Technical Committee pros: <br />1. Communication among cities is necessary. <br />2. City's shoreland ordinances would benefit from exchange of <br />ideas and information. <br />3. DNR may look more favorably on ordinances subject to <br />Technical Committee review. <br />. . . . . . .- ■ -
