ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
MINUTES FOR JUNE 15,1998
(l?4 - #2383 Christine and Gary Valerius - Continued)
will require a variance for wetland credit and lot width. Lot 2 consists of 2.28 acres, with 1.93 acres
being buildable. Wetlands comprise a total of 1.2 acres for Lots 1 and 2. which will require standard
drainage and wetland easements. Valerius stated Hennepin County
has approved the drive^vay access.
Stoddard questioned the need for a lot width variance. Van Zomcren stated the combined lots
fall five feet short of the required 400 feet for lot width. No additional land is available for acquisition
to avoid the need for a variance. Van Zomcren noted only Lot 2 would have lake access.
There were no public comments.
Lindquist moved, McMillan seconded, to approve Application #2383 for a two lot subdivision
of the property located at 3750 Bayside Road that includes creating one new lot, a lot width
variance and wetland credit per Staff recommendations.
