! . <br />I: <br />i‘ * <br />I <br />! i <br />^ ' <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING <br />THE CITY OF ORONO TO ENTER INTO A <br />COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH MN/DOT <br />RELATED TO A NOISE AND VIBRATION STUDY <br />FOR THE HIGHWAY 12 CORRIDOR PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, proposals have been requested from consulting firms for conducting <br />a noise and vibration study for the Highway 12 corridor; and <br />WHEREAS, HDR Engineering, Inc. has submitted a proposal for a noise and <br />vibration study; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposal has been reviewed by the City of Orono, the City of Long <br />Lake, and Mn/DOT engineering staff; and <br />WHEREAS, HDR Engineering, Inc. has been selected to conduct the noise and <br />vibration study; and <br />WHEREAS, Mn/DOT has agreed to fund the noise and vibration study, and <br />WHEREAS, this requires a cooperative agreement between Mn/DOT and the City <br />of Orono. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Orono does hereby authorize the City to enter into a cooperative agreement with Mn/DOT related <br />to the noise and vibration study, and does also hereby authorize the Mayor and City Administrator <br />to sign the cooperative agreement. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting <br />held this 12th day of October, 1998. <br />ATTEST: <br />Linda S.
