L <br />§ 10.03 <br />Subd. 25. Mining. The commercial extraction of sand» <br />gravely or other material from the land and removal thereof from <br />the site without processing shall be mining. In all districts the <br />conduct of mining shall be permitted only upon issuance of a condi­ <br />tional use permit. Such permit shall include, as a condition <br />thereof, a plan for a finished grade which will not adversely <br />affect the surrounding land or development of the site on which the <br />mining is being conducted, and the route of trucks moving to and <br />from the sites. A bond will be required for restoration. <br />Subd. 26. Soil Processing. The operation of processing <br />of sand, gravel, or other material mined from the land shall be <br />permitted only by conditional use permit. Such conditional use <br />permit shall include a site plan where the processing is to be <br />done, showing the location of the plant, disposal of water, route <br />of trucks moving to and from the site in removing processed <br />material from the site, the condition in which the site is intended <br />to be left upon completion, hour of operation, and such permit <br />shall not be granted for a period of longer than twelve (12) <br />months. <br />Source: Municipal Code <br />Effective Date: 9-14-67 <br />(Sections 10.04 and 10.05, inclusive, reserved for future <br />expansion.) <br />Subd. 27. Special Standards for Back Lots Created After January 1, 1994. Back lots <br />as defined in tbis-^actidh which were created as pan of a subdivision that received <br />preliminary subdivision approval after Januar>' 1, 1994 are subject to the following <br />special requirements in addition to the standards required in Section 11.31, Subdivision <br />5 of the Orono Subdivision Code: <br />A. Dimensional standards for back lots shall be as follows: <br />rrvcci- ^ Loj {jg 150% of the zoning district requirement. <br />^ 2.Lot width measured parallel to the front or street lot line at the <br />street yard setback line of a lakeshore back lot, or at the front yard <br />setback line of a nonlakeshore back lot, shall meet the zoning <br />district width requirement. The street yard or front yard for any <br />back lot will be a yard starting where the narrow access outlot <br />corridor ends and the lot begins. Lakeshore back lots shall meet <br />the lot width standard at the shoreline, at the lakeshore setback <br />line, and at the street yard setback line. <br />ORONO CC 259 (4-1-84)
