(.62 acres) <br />The applicant requested variances from the average lakeshore setback <br />requirements and the 75' lakeshore setback requirement to add a second <br />story to the existing residence. The new addition would be built on the <br />existing foundation which is located within the average lakeshore setback <br />and lakeshore setback. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Planning Conimission recommended approval of the variances on a vote of 7-0, subject to <br />the applicant reducing the amount of hardcover in both setback areas by removing the shed, patio <br />block by the deck, reducing the size of the patio and decks, and removing rock and plastic. <br />The applicant has submitted a plan based on the Planning Commission's directive to-reduce <br />hardcover in the 0’-75 ’ setback from 38.42% to 25.8% and in the 75'-250' setback from 43.47% <br />to 33.85%. The enclosed resolution reflects the hardcover amounts submitted with the revised <br />plan. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />To amend or approve the enclosed resolution.
